Yalda Celebration

The longest night of the year.
Yalda is an Iranian traditional celebration which has and is happening on every last night of the autumn season dated on 21st of December, welcoming winter for thousands of years.
Families stay up for most of the night, eat and drink to celebrate this occasion, read Hafiz poems and visit families.
The main fruits for Yalda is pomegranate, pumpkins and pear.
Nuts and snacks such as pistachio, almond, walnut and hazelnut, along with berries and dried fruits are served on the Yalda table.
